QA Engineer
You ensure our operational products execute correctly before they reach our clients. You will build and enforce automated testing frameworks to prevent critical failures in high-stakes environments.
What You Will Be Doing
- Design, write, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans for all new features across four products.
- Automate UI testing workflows utilizing Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium to ensure cross-browser stability.
- Automate backend API testing utilizing Postman, REST Assured, or Python scripts to validate data payloads and status codes.
- Document detailed, reproducible bug reports in Jira, tying them to failing product requirements.
- Collaborate with backend and frontend engineers during the sprint lifecycle to shift quality assurance testing left.
- Maintain and scale the continuous testing pipeline within our CI/CD environment to block failing deployments.
- Perform edge-case and boundary testing to reflect the unpredictable realities of remote field operations.
- Analyze server logs and database entries manually to verify backend data integrity following frontend interactions.
- Track product defect rates, test coverage percentages, and bug resolution velocity metrics for engineering leadership.
- Configure and manage staging environments seeded with sanitized production data for realistic testing.
- Conduct regression testing cycles prior to all major software releases.
What We Are Looking For
- 4+ years of professional experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience writing automated UI test scripts utilizing Cypress or Playwright.
- 3+ years of proven experience executing automated API testing workflows utilizing Postman, Insomnia, or SoapUI.
- 3+ years of experience writing SQL queries to manually verify backend database integrity.
- 2+ years of experience integrating automated test suites directly into CI/CD pipelines.
- 3+ years of experience documenting test cases and managing defect lifecycles utilizing Jira and TestRail.
- 2+ years of experience writing automated test scripts utilizing Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- 2+ years of experience executing load, stress, and performance testing utilizing JMeter or k6.
- Strong analytical focus and proven ability to uncover edge-case bugs in complex logic systems.
- Experience testing software designed for B2B enterprise clients or critical operational systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Quality Assurance, Information Technology, or equivalent technical discipline.
