Frontend Engineer
You will translate complex operational data into intuitive, fast user interfaces used by field workers and enterprise command centers. You ensure that Hubnest's platforms remain responsive and accessible across all devices in challenging operational environments.
What You Will Be Doing
- Build and maintain responsive, data-dense web applications utilizing React.js and TypeScript.
- Architect complex state management to handle real-time data streaming and live dashboard updates.
- Optimize frontend rendering performance, minimizing layout shifts and main-thread blocking.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility, targeting ruggedized tablets used in field operations.
- Collaborate with the Product Design team to translate high-fidelity Figma prototypes into interactive components.
- Write comprehensive frontend test coverage utilizing Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress to prevent UI regressions.
- Implement Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1 AA) across all new and existing frontend components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex client-side bugs escalated by the technical support team.
- Translate business requirements from Product Managers into detailed technical implementation plans.
- Upgrade legacy frontend codebases progressively to modern React paradigms.
- Participate in daily agile standups, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Frontend Engineer building enterprise-grade web applications.
- 4+ years of daily programming experience utilizing React.js in a production environment.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience utilizing TypeScript for type-safe application development.
- 3+ years of experience utilizing advanced state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
- 3+ years of experience building scalable CSS architectures using Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or CSS Modules.
- 3+ years of experience consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
- 2+ years of experience implementing automated end-to-end testing utilizing Cypress or Playwright.
- 2+ years of experience implementing WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards in production code.
- 3+ years of experience operating modern build tools and bundlers such as Webpack, Vite, or Rollup.
- A portfolio or verifiable GitHub repository demonstrating complex, data-heavy frontend architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional engineering experience.
