Solutions Engineer
You are the technical authority of the sales cycle, demonstrating that Hubnest's products can solve our clients' most complex operational problems. You will architect custom integrations, build tailored demonstrations, and resolve technical objections prior to signature.
What You Will Be Doing
- Partner with enterprise Account Executives to serve as the technical authority during complex, high-stakes sales cycles.
- Architect custom technical solutions and integration strategies that map Hubnest's capabilities to the prospect's existing operational infrastructure.
- Deliver tailored, complex technical product demonstrations to C-level executives, IT Directors, and Chief Security Officers.
- Build rapid, custom proof-of-concept integrations or data visualization dashboards to support enterprise deals.
- Respond to technical Security Questionnaires, RFPs, and RFIs with accuracy and deep architectural knowledge.
- Translate technical complexities and API documentation into clear business value for non-technical economic buyers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during live client trial periods or beta evaluations.
- Collaborate with the Product Management team to channel technical market demands directly into the product roadmap.
- Document all pre-sales technical architectures to ensure a clean transition of context to the Implementation Specialists post-sale.
- Train the internal sales organization on technical concepts, API capabilities, and new product releases.
- Maintain a constantly updated demo environment seeded with realistic, vertical-specific operational data.
What We Are Looking For
- 4+ years of professional experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Pre-Sales Consultant.
- 3+ years of experience selling and technically demonstrating complex B2B SaaS or enterprise operational software.
- 3+ years of hands-on scripting experience utilizing Python or JavaScript to build rapid custom integrations or data formatting tools.
- 3+ years of experience reading API documentation, utilizing Postman, and architecting RESTful webhook integrations.
- 3+ years of proficiency writing SQL queries to demonstrate complex database manipulation and custom reporting capabilities.
- 2+ years of knowledge discussing cloud architecture (AWS), data security, and enterprise single sign-on (SAML/SSO) protocols.
- 3+ years of experience executing polished technical presentations directly to technical executive buyers.
- Strong commercial acumen, balancing deep technical capabilities with focus on closing revenue.
- Ability to quickly learn proprietary software logic and understand the operational nuances of unfamiliar industries.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% for on-site enterprise presentations, technical deep-dives, and trade shows.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a similarly rigorous technical discipline.
